On October 23, 2017, my fellow sophomore music education colleagues Cassie Coss, Sarah Dodge, Julia Picchiottino, and I, along with the help of our professor Jesse Rathgeber, designed a poster on “Considering Tinkering with Music through Technology” to present at the JMU Teaching and Learning with Technology Conference (JMUTLT). We were able to listen to the main speaker, Ryan Bledsoe, and her experiences on combining her passions of music making with sewing through technology. In addition to hearing her knowledge, we were able to discuss our ideas and the different pedagogical ideas behind what we had learned about music and technology to those who stopped by our poster.
Here is a photo of all of us at the conference and a closer look at our poster. On the poster are QR Codes that contain links to our annotated bibliography, examples, and other resources. |
